This one-day workshop is designed for members who work with Drone Members on set, and is packed with practical information and all you need to know to work with either an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) on set, or work with a Drone team of professionals on set. We’ll cover everything from technical and safety requirements, Government regulations and insurance to UAV capabilities, and how to establish the shots (shot design) and communications protocols with the creative and camera departments.

Participants will walk away with a greater awareness of the needs of the Drone team and understand how to address those needs with the camera crew, how to identify, create and maintain a safe work area during drone use, and will learn how to implement a safe work procedure before commencing work.

In addition, participants will learn the difference between day and night flying, issues and safety challenges for both, safety perimeters in various situations and how to properly create a flight path.

*Please Note: Registration is required to reserve the spot of any member who wishes to attend an ICG 669 workshop or training course. A $50 charge will be added to the accounts of those who cancel less than 3 business days prior to the start time of the workshop or training course.

Parking: Broadway Tech Centre parkades are closed on the weekend, but there is unrestricted free street parking around the building. Click here for Map
